Wastewater Sewage

Submersible and dry-installed Grundfos SE/SL sewage pumps (9-30 kW) are fitted with either S-tube® (SE/SE1/SE2 and SL/SL1/SL2) or SuperVortex impeller (SLV).

The free passage through the pump varies from 35-125 mm depending on size and hydraulic variant.

SE pumps are equipped with an internal closed-loop cooling system, which enables dry installation. SL pumps do not have a cooling system as they are used for submersible installations only.

The pumps are available for:

  • submersible installation on an auto coupling with completely submerged motor
  • submersible installation on an auto coupling with liquid covering the pump housing
  • vertical dry installation
  • horizontal dry installation.

    Ideal when the pumped liquid contains a high amount of abrasive solids.

The SE/SL 9-30 kW/12-42 hp ranges of submersible wastewater pumps from Grundfos feature the following three hydraulic concepts:

  • Grundfos Open S-tube® semi-open impeller hydraulics provide high efficiency over a wide operating range, can be trimmed to meet a specific duty point, are the ideal solution for medium to extreme contamination of wastewater.
  • Grundfos Closed S-tube® hydraulics (offered for SE1/SE2/SL1/SL2 pump) provide large free passage and high efficiency. ideal for low to medium contaminated wastewater.
  • SuperVortex free-flow hydraulics (offered for SEV/SLV pumps) ideal for challenging applications with high abrasives content or long fibrous materials, combined with intelligent controls and high-efficiency IEC and IE3 motor components provide an ideal solution for challenging wastewater applications
